Platanotopos Sports Center has been gradually created since 2001. Turning the place from an uncontrolled waste disposal area into a great Team Sports Center, has proved to be a major sporting task that has decongested the Municipal Stadium, upgraded the place and became a pole of attraction for citizens of all ages. The continuous upgrading of its sports facilities over the years, with 3 football fields, 5 tennis courts, cross country terrain, basketball court, certified playground according to European standards for our young citizens and a municipal refreshment bar, offers the opportunity to take part in sports and recreation activities in advanced conditions for everyone.
